Cookie Policy
Last updated: April 4, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which cookies nabu.watch uses, and how you can control them. We have kept our cookie usage minimal and intentional — we only set cookies that are necessary for the platform to function or to remember your preferences.
Table of Contents
3. Strictly Necessary Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies are essential for the operation of the Service. Without them the platform cannot function and features such as authentication would not work.
The nabu_token cookie stores a signed JSON Web Token (JWT) that identifies your authenticated session. It expires automatically after 24 hours (or at the end of your browser session if you choose not to remain signed in). No sensitive personal data is stored inside the cookie itself — it is an opaque reference that is validated server-side.
Because these cookies are strictly necessary for the Service to operate, they do not require your consent under ePrivacy rules. You may still block them via your browser settings, but doing so will prevent you from signing in.
4. Functional Cookies
Functional cookies enable enhanced functionality and personalisation. They are not strictly necessary but improve your experience.
The nabu_themecookie remembers whether you prefer the dark or light theme. It contains only a simple string value ("dark" or "light") and is set locally in your browser storage. No personal data is transmitted to our servers via this cookie.
5. Analytics & Advertising Cookies
No analytics or advertising cookies
nabu.watch does not use any analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics), advertising cookies, or any third-party tracking technologies. We do not track your behaviour across other websites.
We may introduce privacy-respecting analytics in the future (e.g. self-hosted, cookie-free analytics). If we do, this Cookie Policy will be updated accordingly and you will be notified.
6. Managing Your Cookies
You can control and manage cookies in several ways:
Browser settings
Most browsers allow you to view, manage, delete, and block cookies. The steps vary by browser. You can usually find cookie settings under Settings → Privacy or Tools → Options. Note that blocking all cookies will prevent you from signing in to the Service.
Deleting your account
When you delete your nabu.watch account all server-side session data is removed. You can then delete the remaining cookies from your browser.

7. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. If we add new cookies or change how we use existing ones, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify you via email or an in-app notice where appropriate.
